Kagool India is Officially a Great Place to Work
Kagool Inc • Dec 08, 2022

Kagool has achieved the Great Place to Work certificate for its India operations, reflecting our commitment to giving employees a fantastic workplace culture.

To gain the award, Kagool went through a complex process, including an employee survey which measured five key areas:

  • Credibility of management
  • Respect for people
  • Fairness at the workplace
  • Pride
  • Camaraderie between people

Kagool scored 80+ in all of these categories.

Kalyan Gupta, Managing Director for the APAC region, commented: ‘Employees are the key to success of any IT company. To make sure our employees see the benefit of their association with Kagool, we created an ecosystem where people feel more Inclusive and togetherness while they are busy solving complex problems of our Enterprise clients. We took several deviations to traditional ways of working in IT companies to achieve the employee satisfaction which is a step towards growth. That’s one of the main reasons why employees and clients like to work with us.’

Kagool India is building a culture of high performance and trust

This award is a testament to the effort that has gone into cultivating an empowering workplace culture for all our employees. We strive to maintain an atmosphere in which people are free to innovate with new ideas and learn new skills, developing their careers at a very fast pace.

Dan Barlow, Group CEO, explains, ‘Throughout our journey, we have always kept the Kagool culture that makes our organisation different. We place a big emphasis on employee development and growth. We nurture talent into confident and qualified IT consultants who have a holistic view of end-to-end solutions that we build to solve our clients’ challenges. So training and upskilling is a big part of what we do here.’

Our employees seem to agree. Navya Dandaboina says, ‘It’s every day learning at Kagool, and personally I have upskilled myself with multiple technologies with help from the management.’

Prashant Malviya similarly says, ‘the transparency, innovation and investment in people mindset is what keeps me motivated.’

As well as investing in each individual employee, we also work hard to build a strong community at Kagool. One employee Shivam says, ‘If I need to describe my experience at Kagool, it’s fulfilling. I like the open culture where one can reach out to anyone in the organisation for any help. People here are from diverse backgrounds, but while at work, we share one culture.’ This focus on workplace culture makes a huge difference in our staff’s experiences, and this can only ever have a positive effect on motivation and productivity.

India is key to Kagool’s growth

Kagool’s presence in India has been vital to the company’s journey. CEO Dan Barlow has said, ‘Our India operations are key to our current operations and overall strategy, helping us to continue to grow our business 100 per cent year on year.’

The base of highly talented people in India has prompted Kagool to open an office in Pune and another office in Hyderabad in 2022, bringing the total up to three Kagool offices in India. These centres always bring high quality delivery to our customers, as well as improving our internal processes. The importance of this work should not be underestimated.
