This solution revolves around a custom Power App seamlessly integrated with SAP's backend system. Tailored for McLaren engineers, the app allows them to use their mobile devices to capture photos and document quality issues during car deliveries.


The functionality of the Power App is deeply integrated with McLaren's SAP system, allowing it to pull real-time data to accurately log issues against a predefined list of entries directly linked to the McLaren factory. This integration ensures that all data entered into the app by engineers is immediately synchronised with SAP, providing a streamlined and efficient process for tracking and resolving quality issues. This solution exemplifies the powerful capabilities of combining Microsoft Power Platform with SAP to enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy in real-time environments.

M&S

In collaboration with Microsoft and SAP's Extend and Innovate programs, we've adeptly utilised the Microsoft Power Platform to seamlessly integrate with M&S's existing SAP systems, resulting in a robust tool for boosting operational efficiency and data accessibility. Our solution features a custom-designed Power App tailored specifically for M&S sales teams and store managers, serving as their primary interface to access real-time sales and performance data extracted from SAP.This integration harnesses Velocity to streamline data ingestion between SAP and the Power App, ensuring that data is current and actionable. Furthermore, Azure Data services are integrated to transform raw SAP data into insightful visual analytics, facilitating quick and informed decision-making for managers.


By leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform to enhance enterprise applications like SAP, this integration showcases improved data visibility and operational agility directly from familiar and user-friendly interfaces. This not only enhances productivity but also optimises the strategic utilisation of data across M&S's business operations.The customer had numerous requirements, including sunsetting BW, migrating to Azure and deprecating the Oracle data warehouse in favour of Azure. Velocity was crucial in expediting the transition by replacing thousands of BODS (SAP Data Services) jobs to enhance integration robustness. Additionally, Kagool provided consultancy services to support the sunset of BW and the rollout of Power BI with Azure. We facilitated the establishment of their modern data platform on Azure, leveraging Velocity as a critical enabler. This allowed them to develop and deploy data products swiftly and with agility. Using Velocity and Azure, we built data products across eight different areas: finance, supply chain, pricing, and inventory—this empowered business users with the reliable reporting necessary for informed decision-making. We guided best practices and leveraged our expertise in modern data platforms. Velocity and Azure ensure that SAP transactional financial data is accessible to users through a trusted single source of truth model, with data refreshed thrice daily.
